Did you know that the school library is one of the most important places for your middle schooler’s success? It’s not just about books (although, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good story?). The library is a hub for creativity, learning, and discovery!

Aux Sable MS eighth-grader Dhruv Ram (second from left) won second place.
Ira Jones Middle School seventh-grader Alanur Mescioglu (left) will represent Will County in the Scripps National Spelling Bee the week of May 25th in Washington D.C.

Congratulations to The Space Page team from Timber Ridge Middle School who bested The Book Benders: The Final Chapter from Ira Jones Middle School to take home the District 202 Battle of the Books 2025 title! All seven middle school teams did awesome! #202proud




After reading the novel Refugee, by Alan Gratz, students in 6th grade honors ELA tested their knowledge with a breakout box. They were all breakout box champions!

Students in Ms. Lenahan's 6th grade honors math class tried to crack the case with a Two-Step Equation themed breakout box! They came close, but no one was able to solve every clue.





Happy Year of the Snake from the ITMS Library Club! Our students put together their first library display in honor of Lunar New Year.

Plainfield Area Public Library joined us for our makerspace this week. Students made customized pencil pouches!
