Seven District 202 middle school students will compete in the 2025 Will County Regional Spelling Bee in March at Lincoln-Way West High School.
The students earned the honor by winning their individual schools’ Spelling Bees. Regional winners statewide will advance to the national Spelling Bee on May 29, 2025, in Maryland.
This year’s District 202 middle school Spelling Bee champs are:
• Aux Sable: Dhruv Ram (8th grade)
• Drauden Point: Kaylynn Wold (8th grade)
• Heritage Grove: Maya Batiller (7th grade)
• Indian Trail: Edward Goding (6th grade)
• Ira Jones: Alanur Mescioglu (7th grade)
• John F. Kennedy: Khaliyah Olans (8th grade)
• Timber Ridge: Saanjh Kahlon (6th grade)
